STANDART PROFILES

Aluminum profiles are structures that exhibit high resistance to harsh outdoor conditions, have a long service life, and offer aesthetic advantages. Thanks to their lightweight nature, they provide both ease of use and a modern appearance in living spaces. Despite being approximately one-third lighter than steel of the same volume, many aluminum alloys offer strength values equivalent to structural steel or even superior in some cases.

Types of Standard Aluminum Profiles

Standard aluminum profiles, which have a wide range of applications in industry, hold an important place in terms of product variety. This profile group consists of box profiles, flat bars, rectangular profiles, L-shaped brackets, pipe profiles, round solid profiles, square profiles, T-shaped profiles, and hexagonal profiles.

Aluminum standard profiles can be prepared with different surface treatments according to need, such as matte anodized, matte yellow anodized, matte inox anodized, and matte black anodized, as well as with shiny natural, shiny yellow, shiny inox, and shiny black anodized coatings.

6060 Aluminum Alloy (EN AW-6060)

6060 Aluminum Alloy Properties

  • It is the most widely used extrusion alloy.

  • It is highly formable and suitable for finely detailed profiles.

  • It has low to medium strength.

  • The anodized coating quality is high.

  • It is frequently preferred in architectural applications.

Application Areas

Window profiles, door systems, showcase profiles, decorative applications,
lightweight carrier systems.

6061 Aluminum Alloy (EN AW-6061)

6061 Aluminum Alloy (EN AW-6061)

  • It is a 6000 series alloy that offers high mechanical strength.

  • It has good weldability and is frequently preferred in engineering applications.

  • Can be strengthened through heat treatment.

  • Has high corrosion resistance.

  • Has good machinability and is used in structural and load-bearing parts.

Application Areas

Machine parts, structural constructions, automotive components, aerospace applications,
marine equipment and carrier profiles.

6063 Aluminum Alloy (EN AW-6063)

6063 Aluminum Alloy (EN AW-6063)

  • Very similar to 6060, but provides slightly higher strength.

  • Excellent extrusion capability.

  • High anodized surface quality.

  • Frequently used in the production of thin and complex profiles.

Areas of Use

Building profiles, railing systems, lightweight structures, energy systems,
architectural exterior facades

6082 Aluminum Alloy (EN AW-6082)

6082 Aluminum Alloy (EN AW-6082)

  • It is one of the alloys in the 6000 series that offers the highest strength.

  • Its mechanical strength is much higher compared to 6060–6063.

  • Good welding capability.

  • Used in engineering applications carrying heavier loads.

Areas of Use

Machine manufacturing, heavy structures, industrial equipment, carrier profiles,
automotive parts.
